Due to hurricane Ida's arrival in Louisiana and Mississippi during the past weekend, many terminals throughout the United States have been impacted. Lower parts of the south region of the United States are highly impacted with city-wide power outages. Various LTL terminals are being shut down or have limited operations for this week.

As you may be aware many carriers’ operations are being affected by the storm due to the tropical storm. You can expect all terminals in the south with LA, TX, MS to be limited or with no operations services. This may cause many delays in transit during this week.

Let’s continue to keep the nation in our prayers and those who have been affected by Hurricane Ida.

TLI is actively monitoring situations in the industry, such as acquisitions, embargos, and other industry disruptions. If a TLI client is directly affected by any of these events, your TLI representatives will reach out to discuss what this means for your account.

TLI highly suggests that on all shipments you provide our team with the “Must Arrive by Date” (MABD) as to when you need the product delivered. This will help us select the proper transit time / equipment type at the best current freight rate.

Please contact your Translogistics team at 610-280-3210 for any further questions.
